IRRIGATION HOSE REEL UNITS
The GROUNDHOG range of reelers have all been designed to facilitate fast, efficient deployment and retrieval of Angus layflat hoses for irrigation systems.
Minimising downtime and enabling the system to be easily transferred between sites without damage, the GROUNDHOG Irrigation system offers considerable savings in time and labour as well as potential increases in yield and revenue over more conventional rigid aluminium pipes. The reelers are hydraulically powered from the tractor spool valve giving the operator full control and ensuring safe operation from the tractor cab.
The GROUNDHOG medium duty mounted reeler has been developed from the industries leading range of slurry system reelers to offer one of the best engineered solutions on the market. A unique combination of robust and innovative design, top quality components and quality finishing result in a unit that will give many years of reliable service.
All models incorporate an adjustable guide roller which assists in expelling any residual water. A hose tensioning facility is available as an optional extra. This allows hose to be retrieved whilst driving the tractor forward giving additional manoeuvrability at headland corners and other confined areas. This is particularly beneficial in protecting valuable growing crops.
LAYFLAT HOSE REEL UNITS
GROUNDHOG Systems offer a comprehensive range of Lay Flat Hose Reel Units to suit any application. All Groundhog Hose Reelers have been developed over the years to give the user unrivalled performance and reliability. They are built to the highest standards to our industry proven designs. All reel units feature powerful hydraulic motor and chain reduction drive system c/w hydraulic pressure relief safety system. They all also feature an integrated residue expeller hose guide.
