Background
Pollution Control (UK) is a successful UK environmental business that was established in 1976. Pollution Control (UK) has continually added complementary, innovative products and services for the environmental sector, central to this are the biological systems that have been developed to treat waste water.
Experience
The Company Director's and Senior Management have more than 50 years experience in the Waste Water Industry. Whilst a number of the engineering staff have been with the company for over 18 years, others have been recruited from within the industry. This mix provides the organisation with a multi functional range of skills and expertise. This results in the company being adept at handling projects with a variety of sizes and complexity.
Facilities
Our location is in Bamber Bridge, South of Preston, close to the junction of the M6/M61/M65 motorways. The premises comprise engineering work shop with overhead craneage, paint and blast cleaning facility, office accommodation equipped with a networked computer system, CAD design and e-commerce.
Business Description
The company has gained experience in dealing with problems associated with the treatment of a wide range of industrial effluents, sludges, slurry and waste water.
From total project management of M & E contracts including pumping, screening, aeration, biological treatment, monitoring, tanks etc. we can tailor our involvement in any project to the clients' requirement.
We have developed a modular concept packaged sewage treatment plant for the range of 20-2000 population. Central to this innovative modular design is our biological Submerged Aerated Filter (SAF) secondary treatment technology, which has been developed in house.
Through our Groundhog range of products we manufacture a range of equipment for the beneficial recycling of liquid organics to farmland and agricultural slurry separation.
